Ecommerce website design, built for the way people buy.

An online store lives or dies in the gap between finding a product and paying for it. We build storefronts that browse instantly on a phone, then hand the buyer to a proven WooCommerce checkout — South African payments included.

01

The storefront and the till are separate

Shoppers browse a custom Next.js storefront: pre-rendered pages served from a CDN, quick even on mobile data. At checkout, WooCommerce takes over — cart, payment, order emails, stock. Each half does the one job it's good at.

  • Storefront designed from a blank page
  • WooCommerce runs cart, orders and stock

02

Fast where stores lose people

Every category and product page is built before the shopper arrives, so nobody waits for a server to think. On mobile data that's the difference between browsing your whole range and giving up two products in.

South African payments, sorted

PayFast is wired in from day one: cards, Instant EFT, the methods your customers already trust. Order confirmations and payment notifications run through WooCommerce, which has been processing shop orders since 2011.

04

Your shop, run by you

Products, prices, stock and orders live in the WooCommerce admin. Add a product tonight and it's on the storefront without calling us. And because WooCommerce is free software, you pay for hosting — not a monthly platform licence or a cut of your sales.

  • Scales past thousands of products
  • No monthly platform fees

Said plainly

If you sell a handful of products and don't plan to grow the range, a hosted store builder will get you trading sooner and for less, and we'll say so in the first call. This build earns its keep when the catalogue is large, the brand matters, and the platform's monthly fees have started to look like rent.

Proof

ROQ Gear runs on exactly this build — browse it on your phone.

Questions

Asked every time

Q·01

Can we manage products ourselves?

Yes — that's the design. Products, prices, images, stock and orders all live in the WooCommerce admin. We set it up, load the first batch with you, and your team runs it from there.

Q·02

Which payment methods will our customers have?

PayFast comes standard, which covers cards and Instant EFT for South African buyers. Other gateways can be added where the business case exists — tell us how your customers pay and we'll build it in.

Q·03

What does it cost?

We scope each store. After discovery you get a fixed number and a timeline in writing — what you won't get is a monthly platform fee or a percentage of your sales.

Q·04

Can you migrate an existing store?

Yes. Products and customers move across, order history too, and every URL that ranks gets a 301 redirect to its successor so your Google positions survive the switch.
