Software

Custom software, built and run from South Africa.

When off-the-shelf stopped fitting, these businesses had theirs built. Each one started as a bottleneck and became a tool their team lives in.

We build internal tools, portals, booking systems and job-tracking on the same architecture as our websites: Next.js on the edge, a Postgres database, PayFast where a subscription is involved, and the code, data and hosting accounts in your name. We run our own products on it, so we operate what we sell. Discovery first, then a fixed number and a timeline in writing.

What we build

Four kinds of software, one way of building it.

Job tracking for factories and workshops, where a QR code on the job card tells everyone where it is. ScanPath is our own product in this category, and it is live.

Customer and supplier portals, where people log in to see their orders, invoices or documents instead of emailing to ask. These usually sit next to a website we built, on the same hosting, so the client has one place to manage both.

Booking and quote systems, when the business takes bookings or quotes in a way no off-the-shelf form handles: trade pricing, time slots that depend on staff, or a quote that needs sign-off before it goes out.

Dashboards and internal tools, for the spreadsheet that has become the business. We move the data into Postgres, put a proper screen in front of it, and keep the export button so nobody loses the spreadsheet habit overnight.

Every one runs on the stack described on the headless WordPress page, the hosting accounts are in your name, and the quote is a fixed number in writing. Most of this work is for South African businesses, a good part of it in Durban, and all of it is scoped over a call first. Tell us what the tool has to do.
